Sound familiar?

From the outside, no one would know.

That’s the point, and that’s what makes it so exhausting.

  • You read the two-line email three times before sending it, then think about it for another hour.
  • You log back on at 10pm “just to check everything’s ok”.
  • You wait for the perfect moment to speak in the meeting, and it never comes.
  • You prepare for every question anyone could possibly ask.
  • You ask someone to confirm a decision you’ve already made.
  • You get very positive feedback and still wonder when you’ll be found out.

You already know why you do it. This is eight weeks, one-to-one with Robin, on doing it differently: send it once, speak up, switch off.

What I valued most was that it was always Robin, every session, and he remembered the detail from the week before.Sarah, New York, US

What clients say

SarahNew York, US
For about ten years I’d been rereading every email three or four times before sending it, and I thought that was just me being thorough. In the first couple of sessions Robin had me map exactly when it happened and what I was actually trying to feel sure of. By week five I was sending most things once. It still pulls at me sometimes, but now I notice it, and it doesn’t take over my afternoon. What I valued most was that it was always Robin, every session, and he remembered the detail from the week before.

I got promoted and spent the first three months convinced someone would work out I wasn’t up to it. I’d tried therapy before. It helped me understand where the feeling came from, but nothing changed day to day. Robin was very practical. He asked what I did when the fear showed up and what that was doing for me. Seeing my reassurance-seeking laid out as a loop was the turning point. In week seven I presented to the board without rehearsing it into the ground, and I slept the night before.

I was sceptical. I’d read a lot about anxiety and assumed I already knew it all. The difference was having someone help me catch the pattern as it happened in real situations, week after week, instead of in theory. I’d been stuck on a decision about restructuring my team for two months, and I made it in week three. Robin was direct without ever being harsh, and completely discreet, which mattered in my role. Eight weeks felt like the right length: long enough to change something, short enough that I never felt dependent on him.

Individual experiences vary. Reviews are from real clients and shared with permission.

One-to-one, on your real week

Imagine a normal week where…

  • you send the email once and close the laptop
  • you speak up in the room without rehearsing it first
  • you sleep through, instead of replaying the day
  • the evening belongs to you and the people you live with
  • you feel as capable on the inside as you look on the outside

What’s prompting you to look at this now?

About a minute. One tap per question. No obligation.

What actually happens in the eight weeks?

It’s coaching, not a course. No modules to get through, and no group.

Each week you and Robin meet one-to-one on Zoom.

You work on real situations from your week: the email, the meeting, the decision.

You look at what you actually did, and what the checking gave you in the moment.

Between sessions you practise, with support from Robin.

And it has a planned finish.

What do I walk away with?

The aim: you don’t need a coach at the end.

Most people Robin works with already understand why they do it. They’ve read the books and tried the apps.

Knowing it and doing it differently are two different things.

That second part is what the eight weeks are for: practice at doing it differently, on your own real situations.

Is this right for me?

It’s built for managers, senior leaders, partners and directors: in law, finance, consulting, the NHS and corporate life.

This is for you if

  • you’re a professional in the UK
  • you’re doing well on paper, and working far too hard to keep it that way
  • you’re ready to do practical work on what you actually do day to day
  • you want to start soon

This isn’t for you if

  • you’re in crisis
  • you need medical or clinical support
  • you’re looking for free advice
  • now isn’t the right time to invest in yourself

If you’re in crisis or worried about your safety, please contact Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24/7), NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.

Will anyone at work find out?

No. You book and pay yourself. Your employer is never involved.

There’s no diagnosis, and nothing goes on a medical record.

Robin works under the ICF code of ethics, which keeps what you share confidential, apart from the standard exceptions such as a risk to someone’s safety.

How much is it?

£1,000for the full eight weeks

That’s about £125 a week. It covers:

1) eight one-to-one sessions, always with Robin

2) support between sessions

Compare it with what the current pattern is costing: the hours a week of checking and replaying, the evenings, the sleep, the years it’s been going on.

If now isn’t the right time to invest in yourself, don’t apply yet.

Before you apply

I’ve tried therapy and it didn’t help.

That’s common, and it’s part of why Robin works the way he does: practical work on what you actually do day to day, with structure every week.

I already know the theory.

Most of Robin’s clients do. Knowing it and doing it differently are two different things. That second part is what the eight weeks are for.

It’s not that bad. I can push through.

You can, and you probably have for years. The question is how much effort it’s costing you to look normal.

I don’t want to depend on a coach.

It’s a fixed eight weeks with a planned finish. The aim is that you don’t need a coach at the end of it.

How is this different from talking to a friend?

A friend is on your side, which is great, but isn’t neutral and isn’t working to a structure with you every week.

Is this therapy?

No. Coaching is practical and forward-looking. Robin doesn’t diagnose or treat anything. If someone needs clinical support, he’ll say so and point them to it.

Is Robin qualified?

Yes. Robin is ICF Accredited.

What happens after I apply?

If you tick “call me”, Robin’s AI assistant calls you within a minute or so, asks a few quick questions and finds a time for a 30-minute Zoom call with Robin. If you’d rather not be called, we email you a link to book. There’s no obligation.

About Robin

Robin knows this from the inside

Robin spent fifteen years performing in West End musicals while dealing with crippling social anxiety of his own.

What he learned the hard way: performing under pressure and actually feeling calm are two different skills. He’d only ever learned the first one.

Now he coaches professionals who are brilliant at the first and exhausted by the cost of it.
